Youth Ministries
Mission
FBC Batesburg Youth exist to see lives be transformed by Jesus Christ. Our spiritual journey is not meant to be walked alone. We are seeking to deepen our relationship with Jesus as well as with one another. Our group is a safe place to ask questions about our faith, study God’s Word together, and find ways to apply it in our lives. All volunteers who associate themselves with our youth ministry have completed our child protection screening program and have been submitted to a background check.

Awaken:

Life Groups are a time to grow in your understanding of scripture, striving to know more about who God is, and how He calls us to live. If you are in grades 6-12, feel free to grab a couch and join us for fellowship. We dedicate an ample amount of time engaging in group study and discussion with others who are experiencing the same things in life as you.

Axis:
Axis is the name of our youth Bible study at FBC. Why Axis? We want to help youth understand that all they do, all they say, and all they think should revolve around Him (as the center, the Axis, of their life). Our curriculum is youth-chosen and is based on a semester schedule.

Each and every one of us are His workmanship and we are truly works in progress. We may stumble, but God is working on us and as the scripture says he will keep working on us. Join us as we dedicate ourselves more to the Lord Jesus Christ and allow Him to have His way in our lives. Our Wednesday evenings kick off with laid-back hang time complete with snacks, drinks, and crazy games. Then we prepare our hearts and minds and move into an open-forum discussion time where our youth choose the topic and we discuss it from a Biblical perspective.
