G.R.O.W

GROW is the name for the outreach program of FBC Batesburg. This evangelism tool is designed to take even the most timid individuals and train them to carry out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ to the local church. G.R.O.W. is an anacronym for God Reards Our Work and it is based on 5 key principles.

• Sowing and Reaping- God's principle for harvest where sowing precedes the harvest. The expectation of harvest must be preceded by a season of labor. We don't reap when we don't work.
• Involving Every Person-The program is designed for any level of experience so as to eliminate any fear or uncomfortability towards witnessing. Three methods of outreach are employed-phone calls, letters or personal visits- to give every person a choice as to where they wish to begin.
• Having Fun With Outreach- Emphasis is placed on having fun verses doing outreach out of obligation. Members become part of a success oriented, enthusiastic team.
• Making Quality Time Greater than Quanity Time- Teams meet only one Tuesday a month requring members to committ just one hour a month to outreach rather than every week.
• Reaching Out By Divine Appointment- Having faith that if we "go" as commanded by Jesus then we will encounter the places where the Holy Spirit is already at work

FBC Batesburg is now seeking recruits for two teams ( G team and O team) to meet on either the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.  See Pastor Philp or Ronnie James if you are interested in being a part of this exciting work.  

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, teaching them to to observe all that commanded you and lo I will be with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:1-20)
