Philip McNeal is Pastor of FBC Batesburg. He came to Batesburg in Fall of 2001 after serving two churches in East Tennessee and Camden, SC for 7 years. Philip earned a BA degree in Business Management from USC in 1983 and a Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, in 1994. He enjoys sports, reading, hunting and fishing. He and his wife Jackie have two children Katherine and Evan. philipmcneal@bellsouth.net

Frances Miller is the Financial Ministry Assistant for FBC Batesburg. October 2006 will mark her 26th year with First Baptist. Frances is a life long resident of Batesburg. She and her husband of 35 years, WC Miller, have two daughters and four grandchildren. While not working at First Baptist, Frances is active in the SC Baptist Ministry Assistants Association and Hulon Baptist Church. She and her husband also volunteer on Sunday afternoons at the Lexington County Medical Center. Frances enjoys walking, music and traveling. francesgmiller@bellsouth.net

Shelby Claire is Director/Teacher of our children's day education program called Children's Morning Out. She has a passion for teaching children about the Lord. Shelby is also also employed with Lexington Country District Three First Steps in Batesburg, and is youth leader at Beulah Baptist Church. She lives in Leesville with her husband Steve and three son's ages 18, 15, and 15. While not working, Shelby enjoys crocheting and shopping.

                                                            
 Nancy Buzhardt is the pianist at FBC Batesburg, a position she has held for 17 years.  She is certified in public school music K-12 with a bachelor of music education degree from Winthrop University and 18 hours of postgraduate work from the University of South Carolina. In 2005, she became a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Middle Childhood/Music and is currently working on her masters.  Nancy is the music teacher at Batesburg-Leesville Primary School and has taught school for 27 years. She lives in Batesburg-Leesville with her husband, Rick, and they have two daughters, Laura and Leslie.
Bennie Daughtry is the church organist.  Before becoming organist at First Baptist, Batesburg in February 1999, she had played the organ since 1970 in various churches in Cheraw, SC and Chapin, SC.  Bennie has been married to Rick Daughtry for six years and they live in  the Harbison area. She has two grown children, and  Rick also has two grown children.  During the work week, she is the administrative assistant at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, West Columbia, SC, and for pleasure and relaxation, she enjoys yard work and her four grandchildren, Will, Henry, and Kate Schrecker, and Claire Mashaw.
Toni Russell serves as the Ministry Assistant for FBC Batesburg. She works part time and is responsible for church publications. Toni lives in near by Pelion with her husband Steve, daughter Melany, and granddaughters Virgina and Sadie. 

Erin Wash is Music Director for FBC Batesburg leading the adult choir and the music for the 11:00 Am Sunday worship. Erin grew up in Batesburg and graduated from B&L High School where she was active in the School Chorus.  She then went on to Columbia College where she earned a degree in Music. Following her graduation she returned to Batesburg-Leesville to take the postion of Choral Director at B&L High School.
